Through my art, my deepest questions are answered wordlessly. I’m able to share and be seen and give and receive.  Art allows me to translate my heart and express my beliefs through color and image.  How can I ever express in words the grace that I feel through my art?  I can try.

As I make these collages, I feel the figure emerge from her environment as she simultaneously melts back into it.  It is the picture of non-separation.  The vital, active energy of this art is the expression of the life force that connects, integrates, and moves through all things.  This is how I see life. We are all one.  And this art is the perfect language to express this belief.

In this series, the representation of this powerful energy is expressed through the image of the feminine soul within a body.  Fluid. Emotional. Rooted. Generous.  Full of life and light.  She is the healer, the seductress, the great mother, Eve.  She births all things, receives all things, and connects us to each other.
